Whistler Crankworxs always takes a toll on me and this year was no different. Trying to do a million things, photo shoots, visiting with friends, dinners with sponsors, setting up bikes, practicing different courses for different events, it's non stop. I had a few obligations this year that took priority over some events, so only did two races this year vs. the 4 I did last year. I would have done 3, but decided against doing the giant slalom because it for one wasn't a slalom format and for two the course was horrible.
Weather has been hot. WE had one day with some rain and another cloudy day, which were needed, but aside from that it has been sunny and hot.
From here I am hoping to get a day at Squamish and another on the North Shore, then it is off to Oregon where we are attending the Oakridge, OR bike festival. Looking forward to that as I have heard so much great stuff about the riding there.
