The day after the Dual Slalom I threw on my tall seat post and took part in the dirt crit. I wasn't feeling all that well after a long day of racing in the heat on Saturday, but I had nothing else to do on Sunday and figured I might as well get some training in. The course was pretty rough and my DS set up wasn't ideal, but I managed to suffer through the 12 laps, about 40min of racing and ended up 8th. Wasn't too bad considering some of the UK's best XC guys were in the race, but I think with a XC bike and some better pre day prep I could have done better.
