Watched the 4x today from Slovenia and was happy I wasn't there competing. A complete mud fest and a lot of luck played into the results, but congrats to Marosi for finally getting a WC win. It was cool to see him and his team mates so happy at the finish.
I had so many good times at the Slovenia WC and I really miss not being on the circuit gunning for wins, but I guess I really can't complain. I have 25 WC wins and that I am proud of, but I still miss being in the heat of the competition and also hanging with some of my best friends, Gracia and Peaty. I'm older than both, yet they are both competing and I feel like I should still be there. There has to come a time when it's time to move on and I felt mine was in 2008. Winning titles and races is awsome, but the friends and experiences are way more important, things you will have forever.
