Hope everyone had a good xmas and is gearing up for new years. Xmas was good in the Lopes house, visited family, exchanged gifts, and stuffed our faces with good food. The number one gift for me this year was candy. For whatever reason I got so much candy that I should be stocked up for a while. The best gift I got was some Jay Z tickets from Paula. Should be a good night at the Staples Center when we see that performance.
The last week has been good. Riding some fun trails with good friends. There is still some good tacky dirt out there, but you have to know where the shady spots are as the sun has all the dirt out in the open dried up.
Hit the moto track today with my bro Jon Levey. We met Mercedes Gonzalez and her husband Derek out there which was super fun. Got to ride with mama Mer, which brought back some good memories when we use to ride all the time together.
Looking forward to announcing some new sponsors for 2010 soon. I have a good run with some of my long time sponsors and the time has come for a change and I couldn't be happier with some of the new product I will be running next year. I'm always looking for an edge and if I can can some with product that is lighter, stronger, or performs better, this makes my life easier. Not that I am looking for the easy route, but every year it gets tougher, so why not take advantage of technology.
