US Open

Raced the Giant Slalom yesterday in New Jersey at the US Open, which really wasn't a GS, more like a very short DH since it was you against the clock. The course was pretty fun, but there were no good jumps on it, just about 25 berms, one after another. It was hard to go fast, but Brendon Faircough had no problems it seemed as he took the qualifier and the final. I was second in the qualifier and 3rd in the final with Sam Hill taking second. I rode good, but was at a bit of a disadvantage riding my hard tail as my small mojo would have been the choice if I had it with me. I think I was the only one maybe out of the 20 qualifiers on a hard tail, but that is what I brought, so that was what I raced. All and all I couldn't be too bummed with my performance.

Off to England now for some photo shoots with the MBUK crew, then to the bike festival Bike Radar is putting on.

More updates to come.
