Just over a week ago I did the last cross race of the 08/09 season here in So. Cal. The course was short, but fun. Laps were about 4 min long, some short ups, short downs, lots of turns and a few get offs. I did the normal 35+ race which lasted 45 min and won that pretty easy, so I decided to jump in the Open 1,2,3 class 15 min after finishing the 35+ and get some extra work out in. From the gun I got out front and never looked back and 50 min later I lapped everyone but the 2nd place finisher. It was a fun day, a good workout, and a nice way to wrap up the local cross season. Looking forward to some more races in the 09/10 season.
