Tues. after the WC in Andorra I was suppose to head down to the Misser's house in Barcelona but instead I spent the day in bed after a rough night of hugging the toilet. I don't know what happened to me, but I felt like dying that night.
After a full days rest I woke up Wed feeling much better, so Paula and I made the 3 hour drive to the Misser's. Pau, Tomas, his girlfriend Isabel and their new daughter, and Sr. Misser all took us to lunch. It had been at least 5 years since we have seen most of them, so it was nice to spend some time with all of them.
Later that day we Tomas gave us the downtown tour and treated us to a great dinner in the city.
The next morning Pau, Sr. Misser, and myself did a short xc ride in their local hills, which was really nice. Some fun DH's and some really good dirt after a night of raining. After the ride we drove back towards the city where I met up with Ot Pi who is a legend in the bicycle trials world. He and his father own Monty bikes and he planned a good riding session at a local bike park with Cesar, Dani, & Kenny who are all the best trials riders in the world along with some locals. It was a great time watching and riding with all these guys.
Around mid day on Thur just after our trials session it started raining and didn't stop for the rest of the night. We woke up Friday and the streets were dry, so Paula and I stopped at the MOTO GP track to watch some of the first day of practice. Our good friend Alex Hoffman hooked us up with the mechanic for KTM/Redbull and also with Redbull hospitality, so we got the vip treatment.
By noon we were on the road heading back to Andorra for a late afternoon fun ride. Still a bit wet here, but the sun is out and hopefully will dry out soon.
