Just got back from a week up in the Santa Cruz area. A few days of riding and photo shoots with Oakley for some new 2009 products, followed by a day at ibis to get some new prototype parts put on my bikes, then it was off to the sea otter to race the dual slalom, followed by a bike shop ride with Family Cycling Center, then another visit to ibis where i picked up my new hard tail Tranny, then to Fresno on my way home to get some work done on my new Sportsmobile.
It was a good productive trip. The race could have went a little better, but I crashed in the round of 8 going against Peaty, so that ended my day a little earlier than I had wished for. My qualifier went great and I had the fastest times on both sides by quite a lot, so I was feeling good. That is the thing with dual slalom, one mistake and you can be done, so consistency really pays.
I will try to get some new pictures of the new hardtail Tranny 4x bike and of the new Sportsmobile. They are both super trick!!!
