Road Trip Ends

The last couple days of my road trip ended with riding the Slick Rock trail and then driving to Vegas to attend the Kicker party at the Hard Rock.

Slick rock is interesting. A great place to test chains as the traction is like no other place. HB must love this trail as you can cut every turn if you want. I think if you spent enough time here you could really find some good jumps, drops, & turns because the terrain is wide open.

The Kicker party was taking place at the Hard Rock cafe and being a sponsored athlete for 7 years now, I got the invite to come hang out. Two nights at the Hard Rock & I was spent. Night one we had a nice dinner at Nobu in the Hard Rock with Jason Jones from Kicker, along with his partner Thomas who also works for Kicker. Chanelle Sladic and her dad Steve were also there. Chanelle is a snowboard athlete who is also sponsored by Kicker, along with Oakley. Also at the dinner was Deanna from Oakley. We had a great dinner and an even better time partying. Troy Lee showed up and he always provides some good entertainment, especially when he is gambling & winning.

The next day was spent at the Sema car show, checking out all the killer custom cars. You wouldn't believe how big this show is. I would say at least 5 times the size of interbike, if not more. Way too big to see it all in one day.
After the car show we got ready and went to the Kicker party.

Been home a few days, just working on some sponsorhip deals, riding some XC, and putting a little time in on the moto. This weekend is the BIG SuperMOTO race that Troy Lee is putting on out at Morongo. Should be fun and if you want to go, check out TroyLeeDesigns.com and you can buy tickets there. I am suppose to race this Celeb race with my teammate Steve Lamson, so tomorrow we are going to go try it out and get some practice. I am a bit nervous, but should be fun once I get a few laps in. My friend Alex Hoffman from Germany has just landed today, as he is competing and coming from MOTO GP has tons of experience on the tarmac. I am hoping a few tips from Alex will get me up to speed.

Check out some pictures I will have up in the next day or so from my road trip.
