Road Trip Continues

So yesterday we did a good long ride. 2 hr 20min, 20 miles, good altitude and some fun terrain, except the parts where you are 3 feet away from a cliff that drops 500 ft down. That's when I get off and walk... Anyways, again I can't remember all the names, but Gold Bar, Gold Stack, and Portal are some of them I think. It was a constant challange between Tom Rogers, Sten Kramer (my Dr.), & myselft to see who could clean all the sections. Challanging and hard, the ride definitely was felt this morning when we woke up at 7:45 to be on the 9am shuttle for todays ride.

Today we got shuttled up with a good group out of the Poison Spider shop. Starting at around 9000 ft, we dropped over 5000 ft, 25 miles, all in just over 2 hrs. riding time. We were setting a good pace the entire way and it was not easy. We still had to do 730 ft of climbing, but just the slight downhill sections alone we were hammering, trying to carry speed through all the rough rock sections. Again the names of all the trails are escaping me, but the La Sals Mountains, upper & lower Porcipine rim were some names that I do remember.

We are all beat tired and jus need a good rest.
