Jeep Finals

After qualifying 2nd I was out in the first round. I beat Cody Warren in the first run and was leading the second run all the way to the last turn where he made a move up the inside of me, knocking me off line causing me to unclip and made up the advantage I had on him by .05 seconds. I was pretty bummed because this is the second time this year Cody has made contact with me and advanced to the next round. What made this especially hard was that just like that my chances were destroyed for taking the overall series which I was leading going into this race.

In the end, Prokop once again took the win and the overall. Jill took the womans win for the day and Anaka took the series title.

As bad as things went for me today they really can't compare at all to how bad things went for Tara Llanes. She was riding really well, qualifying first and looking good until her first semi run against Jill. She was trailing Jill and trying to make up ground and took a bad crash in a fast rhythm section. I don't know all the details but I know she was flown to a hospital in Denver to have surgery on two parts of her back. The word is she broke a bone in her upper back and lower, possibly unable to move her legs. We all hope and pray that everything goes well and Tara will pull through. She is a tough girl and let's all pray for the best.

Tomorrow we are off to Scotland. Looking forward to getting back to a normal start gate and 4 rider racing vs the 2 man style. Suppose to be wet and I love racing in the rain. BRING IT ON!!!
