Jeep KOM San Luis

Just got back from the second Jeep race for this year in San Luis Obispo. With Prokop out in China for a bmx olympic qualifier race someone different was going to be walking away with the mens lead and with Jill at the same bmx race, same was true for the womens class.

The course was designed and built by Carter and it was apartent by the shape of the turns alone. The flowed better than the last race in Utah and was much more fun to ride. Unfortunately there was a lot of wind up in San Luis which made everyone stay as low as possible off the jumps, which some could have been taken differently if it was calm.

Qaulification went well for me edging out Wade for 1st, while Rich Houseman was 3rd, about .7? seconds back and Carter in 4th about a second back.

Each one of my heats went well, taking the lead from the start and winning all of them. In the final I went up against Houseman who beat out Bootes for a spot in the final.

In the end the results were as follows:
1. Lopes
2. Houseman
3. Bootes
4. Warren
