Jeep KOM

Jeep race #1 didn't go so well for me. It was bad before it even started as my bike didn't show up for the first day of practice. The track didn't look so difficult, so I wasn't too worried about only getting an hour of practice before the race and quali. I felt OK on the course in practice, but all the turns were flat and had no flow to them. It was extra bad because you were going so fast into them. Anyways, I slid in one of the turns just before a rhythm section, so I couldn't jump it which obviously didn't give me a fast time. I ended up 6th and would face Cody Warren in the first round.

Round 1 and I am on the outside lane but I easily beat Cody to turn 1, but going into turn 2 I left the door a bit too open and Cody came inside, slide a bit and pushed me out which caused me to crash. So going into run 2 I had to beat him by over a second because that was the max differential. With the track being so fast and not all the hard, I couldn't put enough time between us in the second race I won. An early trip back to the room for me.

In the final Prokop beat out Graves and Jill took the womans. I have to say I was bummed that the track was so boring and the racing was not exciting at all. I don't think there was any passes, except the one on me, so it was another game of follow the leader and just try to be as close as possible at the line. Boring!!!! Sure hope the next track is fun, challenging, exciting, and provides some good racing.
