Whistler Air DH
We got finished with the famous A-Line Air DH race a couple hours ago and I took the win for the second year in a row. It was a hard race as usual and with guys like Rennie, Minaar, and CG you have to be on your game if you want to beat them. Again this year I chose my idrive 5 GT instead of the full DH bike that all the others choose. I feel that I am better on all the jumps with this bike, but maybe a bit slower in the corners. It's a trade off, but it works for me. I was the last one down the hill and beat Rennie who took second by I think 3/4 of a second. Minaar was 3rd another second behind Rennie. The course was in good shape, a bit rough in some sections and the jumps had even bigger lips than last year, which makes it even harder to catch backside on the jumps.
More reports to come after friday. Weather is good and there are tons of riders out enjoying the good riding.
