Lizard DH race
Yesterday was the annual underground Leapin Lizard DH race in Laguna. The turn out was pretty weak compared to years past. Partially because most of the Laguna RADS are getting old and don't want to race down Telonix when it is nasty like it is now and partially because nobody probably even knew about it this year. I found out only a few day ago that it was happening.
I had a good first run, setting the fastest time of 2:05:84 exactly since I have my own beakons. The stoners that do the timing for this race you can't trust. Not that it is a serious race, but always nice to know your real time so you have the hard numbers to compare from year to year.
The second run I was a few minutes late for because I was doing a photo shoot for Dodge Magazine. Sportsmobile hooked up this photo and sent down a photographer from LA to do it, so that took some priority.
Needless to say it was a fun day of having all the local riders together for some DHing.
