Ernesto update
For those of you who have been reading my site for a while, here is a quick update on my friend Ernesto Fonseca who got paralyzed last year while practicing for the SX series.
I hung out with Ernie a last week and it was one year to the date that he got injured. I couldn't believe that one year has passed already. Ernie is mentally doing great. Everytime I am with him he is the same old kid that I love to hang out with. He is able to get around in a chair and is getting stronger with the muscles that he has not lost. As for any new signs of movement or big changes, nothing yet, but we are all still hoping that someday some type of improvement will happen.
He has a great attitude, which in my book is the most important right now. If anyone has a message they want to send to him, send it my site and I will pass it along. He is on his computer a bunch, matter of fact I dropped him off at the Mac store so he could take a class, so he will get it and I am sure would appreciate it.
