Back on the BMX
I went down to Meadows house again today after not being there for about a month to ride with Powell, Kyomi Waller, Leo, Matt Ortwein, and Danny. Dale was there and left right before I arrived. I guess you didn't want to ride with me Dale?
Anyways, I decided to break out my bmx bike, which I think the last time I rode it in the dirt was at Danny's house about two years ago. I felt off for the the first 30 minutes. Powell and Kyomi thought my bars looked a bit low, so I added a spacer under the stem and it did feel better. After an hour I was starting to get the feeling back and loving it. It is amazing how much easier it is to jump stuff on a bmx bike. When you pump a roller the bike really accelerates and it so much easier to speed jump and generate speed. It's like you have turbo on your bmx bike compared to a mtb.
So, it was a fun two hours and I think next time I go out there I will bring the bmx again. I might even take it to the track and see if it is more fun there too.
Look for some new pictures in the next few days.
