Epic Day
It was a epic day of riding in the Clevlend national forest today on some of the best trails around, with some of the best riders around. Ariel and Abby from Mavrick are in town for a week and I have been telling them I need to show them some good trails, so we finally hooked up today and it was PERFECT. I rounded up Tom Rogers from Marzocchi, Hans Rey, & Richie Schely who just flew in last night to come have some fun with us.
We shuttled two different rides, both close to one another, and both were ridiculous. Mother nature did us wonders last night and dumped a good amount of rain and that is just what these trails needed. While on the ride we got hailed on for about 3 minutes, but other than that it was great.
Richie crashed on the first run and hurt his hand a bit, so he and Hans only did the first ride, while the four of us went up for another run down a different trail.
Some of the best traction ever made our out of town friends very happy. They loved our So Cal trails and I'm sure they will be back next winter when Boulder is under snow to have another good session.
Of course we followed the ride with some good old fashion Mexican food to re-energize ourselves after.
