Last Couple days

Yesterday I went motoing up at Competitive Edge with my buddy Dave Castillo. This track is up in the high desert, just about 10 minutes from my mechanic Monkeys house. The track is long and fast. A few big jumps, but for the most part they are pretty safe ones. I forgot it was Vetrans Day today, so everyone had yesterday off, which made the amount of people more than usual. Anyways, it was a good couple sessions.

Today I went for a XC ride with Steve Blick and Ralf Naf the marathon World Champ from Switzerland who has been staying at Hans house for the last two weeks. Super cool guy who actually has skills, not just lungs and power.

Tomorrow we are off for Hood River Oregon for a week long Oakley trip. A bunch of Oakley team riders are meeting there for photos and filming of all the new product. I'm sure you will see and hear about this trip soon. I'll be back just before Thanksgiving, so I may not update the journal until then.

Some other news:

Hans crashed last week at Rays Indoor park trying a wall ride and messed up his thumb pretty good. Had to have surgery a couple days ago and will be off the bike for a month.

Supposably Julien Absolon is asking for a million dollars from Bianchi... Come on guy!

Frishi just finished La Ruta in Costa Rica, but not at the top like last year. Not sure of the details.

Got the new Sportsmobile that is all wrapped with graphics that Oakley did up today. I am taking this on our Oregon trip. Pictures soon...

Peaty and his family were staying at our house for about 5 days and just left yesterday to stay at Sesslers. He's off to Santa Cruz tomorrow.

Mark Wier is still adding on to his pump track. Check out some of the video you can find on you tube.

Chris Powell has got the mini bike feaver. First he got a 110 and now he just got a new crf 150. I rode one myself a few days ago and they are bad ass.
